This inter-disciplinary group of attorneys and professionals will focus on assisting clients in the multitude of challenges and decisions that confront them in today’s business environment. Specifically, the Task Force will assist banks, bank & financial holding companies, credit unions, insurance companies, and other affected entities in analyzing and responding to the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 ("the bailout bill").
The Economic Recovery Task Force is led by Farmington Hills' shareholder Randall L. Harbour - leader of the firm's Banking, Finance and Real Estate Group. Made up of attorneys from several practice groups with broad and significant experience, the Foster Swift Task Force provides assistance in the areas of banking regulation, insurance regulation, real estate, corporate finance, insolvency, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, complex litigation, securities, mergers & acquisitions, labor, governmental relations and administrative law.
