Foster Swift congratulates Dora A. Brantley and Bryan Cermak for being named Fellows of the Michigan State Bar Foundation.

Established in 1984, the Michigan State Bar Foundation’s Fellows Program recognizes distinguished Michigan lawyers for their professional excellence and service to the community. The Fellows Program supports the Foundation in providing leadership and grants for improvements in the administration of justice and the delivery of civil legal aid to low-income individuals and families. Membership is limited to no more than five percent of State Bar of Michigan members.

Dora and Bryan will be recognized at the MSBF’s Annual Fellows Reception taking place on Sept. 18, 2024, at the Hall of Justice in Lansing. Fellows are nominated by their peers and elected by the MSBF Trustees. Visit www.msbf.org for more information.

Dora is often engaged by employers to investigate and provide direction regarding claims of discrimination and harassment, as well as insurance carriers to resolve coverage disputes. She serves as one of only a few Michigan panel counsel for a leading conglomerate of insurance companies. She has the honor of being the only attorney who has been selected by two Fortune 500 fast food corporations to defend claims and litigation involving a variety of issues in Michigan, including tort liability and alleged civil rights violations.

Bryan Cermak is a trial lawyer and a former General Counsel for an international, publicly traded company.  He knows his way around a courtroom as well as the nuances and day-to-day business and legal needs of corporations.  Combining these experiences in his practice in Foster Swift’s Southfield office, Bryan litigates business disputes and other commercial and complex cases, and he serves his corporate clients as a comprehensive legal, risk management and business advisor.
