LANSING, Mich. — Michigan law firm Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C. is pleased to welcome new associate David R. Russell to the Lansing office.
East Lansing resident Russell received a Bachelor of Science in public administration from Central Michigan University in December 1995. He earned his juris doctorate in May 2005 from Michigan State University College of Law.
Prior to joining Foster Swift, Russell began as a law clerk at Luna Entertainment and was welcomed as an attorney to The Gallagher Law Firm, PLC, shortly after. He then moved to Foster Zack, P.C. Russell currently concentrates his practice in commercial litigation at Foster Swift.
Russell is licensed by the State Bar of Michigan as well as the State Bar of Florida. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and was named a "Rising Star" by Michigan Super Lawyers in 2008. Additionally, Russell has been an instructor of business law, government and American history at Northwood University since 2005.
