LANSING, Mich. - Foster Swift attorney, Nichole Jongsma Derks, of the Holland office, has been appointed to the Ottawa County Community Corrections Advisory Board. In this capacity, she will provide valuable knowledge and dedicated service to Ottawa County for their advisory board as a defense attorney.
Nichole joined Foster Swift in 2009 and focuses her practice in the areas of criminal defense, domestic relations, family law and criminal prosecution for municipalities. In addition to this appointment, she is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Co-Chair of the State Bar’s Standing Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and practice, as well as membership to the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio State University and received her juris doctorate from Michigan State College of Law.
