Harrison is a senior attorney in Foster Swift's Lansing office practicing primarily in arbitration and mediation, and commercial and general litigation. He was recently listed in the 2015 edition ofBest Lawyers® in America for his experience in alternative dispute resolution. His inclusion in Who's Who in America® can be attributed to both his professional and personal accomplishments.
A judge for 25 years before joining Foster Swift, Harrison has a broad range of experience. He has served as president of the Michigan Judges Association, as chairperson of the National Conference of State Trial Judges and was presented the Glen Taggart Award for Community Contributions to International Understanding by Michigan State University in 2012. He has also been extensively involved in his community; serving as president of the Mid-Michigan Chapter - American Red Cross, Chief Okemos Council Boy Scouts of America, Greater Lansing Urban League and Lansing Symphony Association. Harrison was also awarded the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce 2013 Community Service award jointly with his wife, Deborah.
