Lansing, Mich. - Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC welcomes Iris K. Linder as a shareholder to the law firm's Lansing office. Linder joins the firm's Business and Corporate Practice Group. Her practice focuses extensively in corporate and securities work. Linder is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is included in Best Lawyers in America for Corporate and Securities Law. She has extensive experience representing companies in connection with private placements of securities, as well as SEC reporting and registration. Linder also works on venture capital investment transactions, representing both investors and portfolio companies. Additionally, she represents independent producers and oil and gas exploration and development companies.
Linder is a graduate of Michigan State University and earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. In addition to her practice she is active in the American Bar Association's Private Equity and Venture Capital and Federal Regulation of Securities Committee. She is also a regular author and lecturer on securities and venture capital matters.
