East Lansing, Mich. - Foster Swift Attorney Nick Oertel will present an entity formation workshop for the Michigan State University Entrepreneurship Association (MSUEA)on Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. for Global Entrepreneurship Week.
"The workshop will be a primer in the basic legal issues that entrepreneurs need to be aware of in order to launch on the correct legal trajectory," Oertel said.
Nick will discuss entity formation, funding, and the top five legal mistakes startup businesses make. The workshop will also detail how to turn a startup business into an LLC.
The Hive, located within Wilson Hall on MSU's campus, will host the event. Tickets for Nick's entity formation workshop are not required, but can be requested through MSUEA.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is November 16-22.Throughout this week, East Lansing will host many events to celebrate entrepreneurship.
