LANSING, Mich. - Pamela Dausman, a shareholder of Foster Swift Collins and Smith, P.C., was presented the 2012 Golden Gavel Award by the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel on May 11. The Golden Gavel Award is given annually to an outstanding defense attorney in Michigan. In order to be nominated, an attorney must have been practicing for ten years or less. This award is selected by peer defense attorneys throughout the state of Michigan.
Joining the firm in 2002, Pamela Dausman is a member of Foster Swift’s General Litigation Practice Group. Recently, Pamela has focused on defending liability claims and employment discrimination claims against governmental entities. She also defends employers and governmental entities in civil rights and Section 1983 claims, as well as wrongful termination claims. Pamela completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where she graduated with high honors, and received her law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude.
