LANSING, Mich. –Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC is the sponsor of the Corporate Challenge for the Fifth Third Capital City River Run (CCRR) on Sunday, September 22. This is the fifth year Foster Swift has sponsored the Corporate Challenge.
"The Fifth Third Capital City River Run is more than just another half-marathon with a relay and 5K" says Taylor Gast, Foster Swift business attorney. "From the home perspective, it's a family friendly event that raises money for the Impression 5 Science Center. From a work perspective, the Corporate Challenge is a great opportunity to for teambuilding among co-workers while promoting exercise and healthy habits."
More than 3000 people participate in the CCRR annually. The event features a 5K, a Half Marathon, a Half Marathon Relay and a children’s race. Corporate Challenge participants earn points for completion and can choose to complete the Half Marathon, be part of a Marathon team or complete the 5K.
"One of the goals of the Corporate Challenge is to encourage people who may not have ever entered a 5K to do so and recognize the benefits of walking and running" says Marcy Kinzler, Director of the Playmaker Foundation. The proceeds from the race events help benefit the Impression 5 Science Center.
Foster Swift shares CCRR’s mission of promoting education and a healthy well-being and lifestyle while supporting the community. To hear more from Gast and Impression 5 Executive Director Erik Larson on race information and registration, click here to view the following video.
