GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC is once again the title sponsor of the Half Marathon event for the annual Metro Health Grand Rapids Marathon and Pepsi Zero Sugar Marathon Relay on Sunday, October 20.
Founded in 2004, the GR Marathon has steadily grown to over 5000 participants, 87% of which are from Michigan. Enjoying the race, Foster Swift always has at least two relay teams and several attorneys and staff members that run the full and half marathons.
In addition to the half marathon, Foster Swift is also honored to sponsor a hospitality tent for the myTeam Triumph participants and their families. myTeam Triumph is a nonprofit athletic ride-along program created for children, teens, adults and veterans with disabilities who are not normally able to experience athletic endurance events.
"The combination of the Grand Rapids Marathon, Foster Swift Half Marathon and the Pepsi Zero Sugar Marathon Relay make for a great community event," says Kim Hafley, Director of Marketing for Foster Swift. "The comradery is amazing. It's my Team Triumph, it's the charity partners like World Vision and Hope Water Project, it’s everyone: runners, organizers and community members coming together to help individuals accomplish a goal."
