Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC attorney Mindi M. Johnson, has recently been elected as a member of the Council of the State Bar of Michigan's Taxation Section. She will serve on the Council for a three-year term. Mindi served on the Council previously, stepping in to fill a vacated seat.

In addition to being named a Council member, Mindi has also been elected to Editor for the Taxation Section's official publication, the Michigan Tax Lawyer.
Mindi serves her clients mainly out of the firm's Grand Rapids office; helping them navigate challenges and solve problems in the areas of employee benefits law and health care law with a business-minded approach and a service-oriented delivery.
She has spoken and written extensively on employee benefits, health care reform and health care law topics. She is actively involved in a number of legal, professional and industry organizations focused on these issues. Additionally, she leads the firm's Employee Benefits Group.
