Overview
Megan Cochrane is a paralegal with Foster Swift's Business & Tax practice group in the firm's Lansing office. She assists attorneys with a wide variety of matters, including those in:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Business contracts
- Entity selection and organizational planning
- Non-profit formations
- Financing transactions
- Real estate transactions
She is also a member of the firm's Corporate Transparency Act's (CTA) task force and helps clients stay up to date on the many back and forth updates that the implementation of the CTA has brought.
Megan received her B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Microscopy from Central Michigan University. Currently, Megan is a council member and Chair-Elect for the Paralegal/Legal Assistant section of the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a co-chair for the Ingham County Bar Association Paralegal/Legal Assistant section.
